So far the bigger flowered ones seem to make the bigger (better tasting) berries. I haven't found anyone else who has eaten them so I don't have much info, but I didn't die. (and I did read about it before I tried it)😉

That's just what I've been doing with the ones that look ripe.

I just found out last year that those berries that fuchsias produce after flowering are edible-different varieties have slightly different tastes--I've only had a couple--they remind me of a grape in consistency and taste, though not as sweet.

That sounds like such a nice way to spend the afternoon. I keep waiting for my seeds to ripen, but it's been so wet that I'm afraid they are going to just mold. I'll buy some new ones of different kinds, so if they don't make it, I'll still have something, and if they do, I'll have old AND new.😊

Do you like to make gingerbread houses? I remember you have a collection of some small village houses. Buy a new one every year? From a thrift store to make it more of an event.

If you would like such a thing, maybe make it a habit to go every year to see a production of The Nutcracker. Maybe that is not available in your area, but it's a thought.

As of late October 2025, the Supreme Court is set to decide Nov. 7 whether to hear Kim Davis’s case challenging Obergefell. If accepted, it could threaten nationwide same-sex marriage, though analysts doubt the Court will overturn the 2015 ruling. (Newsweek) They doubt? I wouldn’t be surprised…
