I love being around other trans creatives. In spite of everything the world dumps on us, we keep expressing ourselves. It's flammin' beautiful in spite of the sadness of what we deal with.

If only the world would stop said dumping and let us shine as brightly as we deserve.

I was a puriteen in the 90s: no cursing, shame about all things sexual, except when couched in academic language. I had to be my absolute best to have a chance to make it. By the time I hit 21 it all fell apart of course and by 28 i was a lot more realistic. I think it’s always there more or less.
