Last year just before I was about to harvest my red pears the deer and blackbirds beat me to it. I lost every single pear. I don’t want to use a net because invariably when I have used a net a songbird gets caught in it.
Any DIY suggestions on how I can safely/organically protect my pears?

Do we need to put up billboards to override the lack of coverage around what 47 has done and then falsely characterizes it as “everything is great”.
