I think that this would be catastrophic, for them. The trouble is that they could do quite a lot of harm in responding precisely because they are not prepared, not very smart, impulsive, and hateful.

My answer was: Show up. Not at locked buildings in DC, but places around the country already experiencing the harms of Trump admin actions.

Honestly, I don't think Biden should be doing this. Dems seem to think they exist to set a good example for Republicans... and if we just honor norms hard enough, we can somehow shame them into honoring norms. When will we learn?
