When it is identified and understood, oppression then relies on our apathy. When we finally stir our passions against it, oppression then continues to survive through our inaction.

My thought, based on past and current experiences, is that grief isn't something you get through or get over, it's something you learn to journey with until it decides to leave you. Even then, it doesn't ever stray very far from your path and, on occasion, it will sneak up on you and surprise you.

The other day I had a similar thought about grief and decided to Google it to see if it was something I had read and was just resurfacing as my own. I don't recall ever reading anything by Terri Irwin or seeing her quoted by another author, so maybe it's a coincidence.

And if you can learn how to manage it and honour the person that you miss, you can take something that is incredibly sad and have some form of positivity."

Okay, time for a rant. I keep seeing news story after news story about the "President" making trade deals that set tariffs levels at some point below his arbitrary, initial tariffs level.

This is the political strategy we see in the current regime, just expanded to portray all as the risk.
