It's important to note that 70% did not vote for The Convicted Felon. In fact, *fewer than 50%* of *those who voted* voted for him. About one-third of eligible voters did not vote at all.

In light of the Salvadorean president's glib defiance of the U.S. judicial system, the Congress could consider zeroing out any aid to El Salvador in the budget now being negotiated.
