I'm a Brit living in China, I'm a keen photographer and musician, and like to read, travel, explore, try different things and foods, whatever. I come here mainly for the photos.

Crushed vehicles are melted in steel foundries, and make up a major proportion of the material melted. It is then cast into ingots or bar for further processing into various steel products. Metals are rarely wasted, and most metal that you see is recycled to some extent.

Trying to imagine an appropriate meaning for exododus; it's too good not to use. It sounds like a superlative; "that is absolutely exododus!"

Many opinionated people have no idea about what right wing, left wing or anything else means; they can't distinguish between communism and socialism, and have no idea about so called democracy. And yet they pontificate and accuse. Just stick to your guns, your views are perfectly rational.

The meaning of life isn't a destination to be reached, but a framework to be built and a quality to be cultivated. It's the answer you live, not the one you state. The act of searching for meaning is a profoundly meaningful part of being human.

Not "murder," then?

It's all in the clever, grammatically passive style of writing; there's no subject; it's unclear from it as to who did the forcing; it almost sounds as if it's her fault for being underage; no fault is attibuted to him; the way his name is at the very end sounds as if he just happened to be there.

You never know, he could actually qualify. If, that is, they ever introduce a category for bottom feeding morons.

I like the composition, the way the figures lead the eye into the picture.

Haha, indeed it was, I stand corrected! I thought there was something not quite right when I wrote it.

I H T would make a decent logo, good on hats, t shirts, toilet rolls, etc.

Indeed, often hidden, and it's very satisfying when you spot it.

My favourite place, and I love the museum and art galleries there. My parents were both from Glasgow, and I scattered their ashes in the park a couple of years ago.

True; he's definitely not proactive, and is also barely reactive: remember Dennis Healy saying that being attacked by Norman Lamont was like being savaged by a dead sheep? The Chinese say that someone with his lack of character is "like water."

It would be good if you were right in this, but unfortunately I think it more likely that they will instead defend themselves by saying "we didn't know," or "I was just following orders."

Nice work! It would be nice also to see the allotropic transformation of the configuration of the atomic structure from body centre cubic to face centre cubic.

Not sure if that works aesthetically in the featherbed frame.

Assuming you mean civilisation as in organised society, then it would have to be whoever was the first to write. Sanskrit is old, but there is also very old evidence of Chinese script. Not to mention the ancient Egyptians. I often ponder on how strange it is, that it was all developed in parallel.

Good point, the first digital computer was American. And I'd say powered flight is a pretty strong one to have on the cv as well!
