As part of my volunteer work, I performed a Monthly Tune-up remotely last night. The Windows 11 24H2 update was FINALLY available for that particular laptop.
Could have manually downloaded the ISO and upgraded earlier, but there was no rush or need.
A client asked me today why Chrome will stop supporting UBlock Origin. Here's my blog post about that. There is a temporary fix, but it only lasts until June.

Switching from Google Docs to Proton Drive (Docs). So far on the free plan, but I'll likely upgrade.
And yes, it's better.

Thrilled to hear from a long-time client in #yeg again. We booked a remote call for Thursday. Likely a System Cleanup.
She was initially a referral from a connection and client on old-school Twitter.
I am hoping to convince her to let me do Monthly Tune-ups and Updates for her going forward.

Quick Tip: File and Folder Thumbnail Cache Images in Windows [Subscribers]
At first glance, the thumbnail cache can seem like junk files taking up space for no reason. But before you hit delete, letβs talk about why theyβre not as disposable as they seem.

It turns out the big box stores are still pushing Norton for antivirus. *cringe*
They make money each time they sell you a license.
If all you're doing is basic stuff like email, YouTube, and going to reputable sites, the antivirus built into Win 10 and 11 will suit you fine.
