First of all I would switch the order of these questions and start with self vs trad. Because if you go traditional most of these questions will be answered for you. If you go self, you need to get all of this done by yourself.

I'm somewhere in the middle but the more I write the more I lean towards a plotter, not knowing what's gonna happen tends to paralyze me completely.

What is your writing goal for 2025? I want to publish my novel. It's an urban fantasy with noir detective vibes and I love the story. A lot of editing is needed but I will hopefully get it there.

All preparation is writing. All editing is writing (as the saying goes: "Writing is rewriting.") When accounting for daily writing time, set yourself a goal of pages edited or pages outlined. The work you do up front and on the back is literally replacing the work from some other phase of writing.
