Don't think about the big picture, just one task at a time. You've got this.

Sometimes, things like that that can be overwhelming. Start with small things. Once you've made some progress, it will get easier.

Streetsblog Mourns the Passing of Donald Shoup - Streetsblog California Rest in peace, Professor Shoup. Your memory will always be a blessing and your legacy will live for generations.

RIP Donald Shoup one of the most influential urban experts who changed many cities for the better. He certainly changed how I look at parking. His book 'The High Cost of Free Parking' was a game changer.

Not my mayor (at least I hope in two years time), I certainly didn't vote for Qatari Ken.

This smells very fishy.

It's what I say to many Americans who call our Canadian healthcare, socialized healthcare. Most don't complain about schools, fire, police, highways etc., but seem to have a big problem with healthcare for all.

Sure glad I didn't vote for Convoy Qatari Ken...

There's an extension you can get for Chrome that helps find people who have accounts on that old thing and BlueSky. Do a search for Skybridge.

That's unfortunate, but I understand. I've voted for Adriane Carr in every election she's run in and my dealings with her have always been pleasant and productive. She's extremely passionate and hardworking. She will be missed, if/when she steps aside.

Also, there have been income tax reductions and rebates to compensate. As well, most people (especially those with lower incomes) come out ahead. It incentivizes making better environmental choices.

I didn't even know Threads still existed. It's dead, Twitter is dying, we are happy here, let's move on.

They have perfected double standards. They live and breathe it and see nothing wrong with it.

If passed, this is a huge step backwards. Why can this council not look to the future? I'm seriously looking at changing my gas stove to an induction one due to environmental and health impacts.

I never understood why being a cyclist apparently defines them. I'm also a runner, it's what I do, not who I am.

All of social media is an echo chamber thanks to algorithms. If you want a variety of opinions, you need to seek them out elsewhere. At least BlueSky allows users more flexibility in what they see.

With zero accountability to tax payers.

Qatari Ken and his minions keep increasing the VPD budget every year by insane amounts and it's never enough. They won't be happy until 100% of the city budget goes to the VPD. There seems to be zero accountability.

I was in Sydney in September to run the marathon. I found the city so easy to get around by train and/or walking.

The economic benefits are highly misunderstood by those who should know better. As well, many businesses have no clue how their customers arrive. If they knew, they'd generally love bike lanes.

The sooner and better a business sees future trends, the easier to Piot and the more likely of success. That being said, many don't stand a chance, unless they completely diversify and get lucky.

Kodak is a good example of a company that didn't pivot quickly enough. I always say for businesses, they need to evolve or they will die eventually. Chapters and Best Buy are two examples of businesses that have able to pivot and expand what they offer.
