🚨DHS is trying to destroy YOUR public lands!🚨

What do 450 bird species…
67 reptile and amphibian species…
and 1,200 plant species…
on 800,000 acres of sensitive desert have in common?

They’re in Big Bend National Park, about to be WALLED OFF from the Rio Grande. ❌

Why do facts, science, and similar things get labeled "liberal" to the dummies?

If the ICE terrorist/agent has a history of this, then I don't think that gives the justifications for his action Vance thinks it does.

A screenshot of Adam Cochran providing context from attorneys on the officer involved shooting in Minnesota. These attorneys would advise this particular ICE agent to take a plea deal because his actions do not align with a self defense argument.

If that ICE officer was dragged by a vehicle 6 months ago, why is he back on duty? Was that incident investigated? Was he psychologically cleared to return to work? If he is "senistive" as Vance suggests, maybe he shouldn't have been there in the first place.

I would add that we should add protests at news stations for reporting lies instead of facts

Let's be clear about something. This will domino into policies of other agencies within the federal government. Land Mngmt agencies such as Bureau of Land Managment and National Parks rely on the EPA rules to make decisions about projects in their jurisdictions. So do state gov'ts.

I'll be honest and say, I cannot look at images or watch videos without feeling retraumatized by all of it. What a horrible thing to witness. And then knowing they all got pardons is the worst gut punch ever to Americans who believe in democracy.

I'm sorry, but WTF does the Secretary of Interior, who leads the management of Federal lands have ANYTHING expertise say about oil in Venezuela. I'll give you the answer: it has zero to do with #PublicLands and everything to do with Burgum being a "drill, baby drill" guy.

This is a great video. No doubt the historic architects will need to use this video to document what used to be, so we can document history.

Expect lawsuits if Superintendents lose their jobs over this. AND, expect lawsuits from employees who receive an evaluation that doesn't match the benchmark standards.

This goes against the directive from Deputy Director of Operations at NPS to score everyone no better than a "fully successful". Superintendents were directly threatened with their job if they don't fall in line.

More information coming from NPS employees, and other DOI agencies about Employee Performance Evaluation Plans (EPAPs) - many supervisors are showing a willingness to thwart authority and give employee ratings that align with their performance.

Thank you. Been saying this, too, for far too long. NPR was where I first heard a news outlet use the term "post-truth", and that was back in 2018 or 2019. Yet, here we are!

Ratings are also used to determine any end of year awards for well-performing employees.

These ratings are rumored to be used for future RIFs, and this administration wants a record to say most employees are not high performing.

Reports are coming in from federal employees at the NPS that the performance appraisals for employees will be "calibrated" and no one is allowed to receive the highest rating. Any Suprrintendent who doesn't comply will be replaced (fired?).
