True that the American MAGA movement is into all those antagonist and/or narrow-minded qualities of a cult. This is also true about, for example, some Islamic movements, though. Sadly, the whole world seems rather full of such movements, which may pertain to religion, politics or something else...

Trots att jag tycker hon för med sig friska vindar av förnyelse inom liberalerna, så ör satsningen på borglig regering lite trångsynt uteslutande mot Centern jämfört med SD. De sistnämnda är kanske sedda som för stora för att kritisera.

Som annan trångsynthet så är även etnocentricitetsbaserad sådan oftast bakåtsträvande. Fast att komma ifrån trångsynthet kan nig ofta resultera i omvänd trångsynthet. Så till slut bejakas ofta (reaktionärt) den ursprungliga trångsyntheten för att det annars riskerade bli radikalistisk trångsynthet.

That 50% tariff is a tax that will mainly hit the poor and the middle class. That will help justify the huge tax cut for the billionaires. Golden age? Gilded age would be more accurate. The rich are getting richer and everyone else is slowly being bled dry.
