Can totally relate. Hang in there. Am shutting
this down and heading out with a camera now.

More skittish than psycho-ish, really, but it tolerated my presence if I didn't look at it. One day, I got the jump on it. I was renting a room in the basement of a house during a time of transition.

Hey, Andy. It's been a while since I wandered the trails of a local park with a camera. It felt very comfortable to be back last weekend. It's always great to see all the different ways light works, especially in these treasured places.

Best cat suit ever.

Congrats. It was a perfect weekend for it. Was there on Saturday.

I'm often just drawn to broken blobs of light.

Also in 2021, my mother, who was beginning her journey with dementia, was brought up from Pennsylvania because her partner was no longer able to look after her and he had become ill. She stayed at the house until I was able to find an apartment for both of us. So I was "living" in Ottawa and Lyn.

Four years ago this month I went to stay with a friend in Lyn, Ontario. He had recently been diagnosed with leukaemia. I was beginning a separation and was able to help with bills and housework at his trailer. He was most concerned about his cat, Diego, who he missed while getting chemo in hospital.

Flying over Yukon glaciers, August, 2022. Went back in 2024, but we were unable to book flights for various reasons.
