All of these people are defined by what they are doing right now. Nothing they did before, nothing they say after, nothing they believe privately, wipes away the fact that this, right now, is who they are.

He tried to kill them personally on 1/6, they they actively helped him get away with it despite having the power to stop him, and they continue actively helping him get away with stuff despite having the power to stop him.

Seems obvious, but some people need a reminder: Elections are intended to be a pain in the ass to those in power. Despite the lip service they give democracy, those in authority are actually very comfortable with you not voting.
