My kid wants to get into the Harry Potter films so I’ll let my love of Robbie Coltrane and Maggie Smith outweigh my dislike for JK Rowling. However, I forgot that she’d named the Owl ‘Hedwig’, after perhaps the most beloved trans icon in theater. I’m sure it’s coincidence.
