The sinker: Researchers propose expanding options to care so that infectious disease docs can focus on their specialty- managing long term care for HIV; and Primary Care doctors can support the long term management of cardiovascular conditions and other common ailments.

The line: These Vets often live in urban areas and experience more financial insecurity. Additionally Vets whose primary care is being managed by ID docs often have higher long term heart disease risk compared to those seeing primary care providers.
