Now, one final "tip" that, of course, isn't investment advice:
Fear & Greed Index: some people say that you better don't buy when the street is extremely greedy (like today) - I'm of course following that framework๐
on the watchlist.
I can completely understand if that sounds boring to you, but to me, it's a fun thing to do. It's a nice way of staying up-to-date and learning about innovative products and services. I also enjoy writing @whogotfunds for the same reason.
Question for you all:
One key aspect that I'm enjoying a lot from this journey is that since I'm making decisions by myself (I'm not investing through ETFs or similar but rather in individual stocks), I actually need to put in the time to inform myself about the developments of the companies I've invested in or the ones
15.07.2025 10:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's been a wild and fun ride so far! With ups and downs, but I'd say that the results are good since I'm 50% up from the amount of money I decided to put in. I'm not rich by any means, so I started with a very humble amount.
15.07.2025 10:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0In Glissandoo, I was not full-time; I was full-time, full-life. Most likely, as almost all startup founders do. I didn't have the time or the cash to start buying any stocks.
However, since last year everything changed, and I started putting more time into investing.
Last year, I started investing in individual companies trading on the public markets. Before that, I had been interested in the topic and had bought some shares occasionally, but all my resources (both time and money) were fully invested in my startup glissandoo.com.

Question that should help me identify whether my next side project targets a real problem or just a nice-to-have:
Do you have enough time to listen to all the podcasts youโd like? ๐

Yesterday, I went for a long walk while listening to a podcast, and it gave me an idea that I believe will save me hundreds of euros in the coming months :)

Did you know that there is a company born in Valencia competing directly against giant IKEA?

๐ Oraion's agents extract data to provide recommendations in areas like investment intelligence, customer sentiment, and workflow automation.
The platform can function as an enterprise data store or integrate with existing infrastructure, supporting over 300 data sources.
Cool! ๐
1) Targeting enterprise = faster scaling. Ofc that's still true in the AI era.
2) Led by alumni of Apple, N26, Revolut, MongoDB, Printify, and Bolt. Chances of raising such a big pre-seed without experience are always low.
Big pre-seed announced by a #EuropeanStartup yesterday:

Have you ever heard the analogy about not selling doors, but the screws that hold them together? I think Didomi is a perfect example of it.
They simplify consent collection for enterprises - and they're growing fast thanks to their all-in-one, robust solution. Now, with inorganic growth on top.
Founded in 2017, Didomi assists businesses in gathering, managing, and utilizing user consent across various platforms, enhancing accuracy in marketing and advertising efforts, and fostering trust with clear data handling practices.

However, in today's AI era... I wonder whether the concept of an MVP still holds.
As software production becomes increasingly affordable, size constraints will diminish.
Will "MVP" still be a popular term in five years?
