I've seen news stories about "they're gonna make a plane you have to stand in" for close to 12 years, and nothing has changed. As seen in this news story, people are just gonna fly a different airline the second you try to introduce it.

I think we've pretty much reached the optimal row to space ratio. They are already quite uncomfortable, and it's at a point where lower cost cannot justify any less space. No one is going to stand on the plane lol
