Grass is always greener on the other side, it's for sure amazing to work on great IPs, and to be paid on a monthly basis with that sense of security. But I guess trying to be independent, fucking around (and finding out), and all that stuff is also important. It's been working for me so far! ;) 2/2

I was, a few times, really, really close to working full time on some of the biggest IPs in the world. And I think, in the long run, that it was for the best that I didn't get those jobs. It wasn't the time nor the place for me, I needed to just go with my own flow and try things on my own. 1/2

I mean, fuck gen-AI, but specialized algorithms doing some complex math or helping to do advanced Excel stuff? That's actually how it should be I think. Not creating something for us, but helping us create by doing tasks that take the time we should spend creating. Agree or disagree?

Living in Poland and not in the US or the UK is quite problematic for my job as a TTRPG creator. I can't go to the biggest cons (travelling is ridiculously expensive), so I can't network in person, can't meet people from the industry, can't take part in business events :( Trying my best though. 1/2

Just wrapped a two days of one-page RPG workshops with total of 21 amazing participants: teens, adults, newcomers, people with disabilities, parents with kids! Every single one walked out with a playable game, full of amazing ideas! Everyone can create. Everyone can finish their games.

I really don't want my customers to pay more than they should. It's an extra effort for me, sure, but at least it's more affordable for people - and in this fucked up economy I feel like those few $ here and there can make a difference.

That's why I don't use fulfilment partners for most part and ship everything myself (which is a nightmare, but one I can live with), because I can ship for less than $10 worldwide, and some companies charge $15-20 for a single, 40 pages zine to be shipped within the EU, not to mention to the US. :(

Yeah, it's all about the players and how can they navigate that, it can go pretty awkward with just random people.

Yeah, it can get pretty weird when one person plays as a kid and other doesn't, like there is an imbalance that's hard to overcome.
