I enjoyed the hell out of ‘Reformation.’ It was a great echo of ‘The Lumiat’ and showed how far across the emotional range a Master story can go when the right writer is at the helm. I’m looking forward to ‘Lioness in Winter’ next!

‘The Ideal Quarry’ was great! It would have been sooo easy for Dhawan’s Master + Sontaran to have become looney tunes, but the dialogue was both genuinely funny and in-character. And that final act just to remind us who the Master is. *chef’s kiss*

Do you feel the same way about eggmorphing? I know we’ve retconned it to be “in the absence” but Cameron adding the xeno queen was a contradiction to what was in the deleted scenes of Alien.

As a sober alcoholic, it’s crazy how that stuff has wormed its way into every event, party, date, get-together, etc. As the video says- someone introducing it today would be immediately shut down.

A really fun and easy to run module with Liminal Horror. Slap the Mall down in the town of Hungry Hollow and guarantee no investigators make it out alive. All the suffering!

My favorites from the first wave of new X-Comics. NYX really improves and elevates the original series from back-when, and Exceptional was a total surprise. Looking forward to wave two, and the Laura Kinney volume in August.
