BOX D Fort Yates, ND 58538 JULY 1613 STATEMENT REGARDING DETENTION OF STANDING ROCK SIOUX TRIBE MEMBER IN MINNESOTA JANUARY 24, 2026 I was notified today, January 24, 2026, that a Standing Rock Sioux Tribe member has been detained by the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the state of Minnesota. Tribal leadership is actively working to locate the individual, gather accurate information, and coordinate with the appropriate authorities to secure their release. At this time, details surrounding the detention remain limited. I urge the public to refrain from spreading unverified information while this matter is being reviewed Standing Rock Sioux Tribe will continue to advocate for the protection of our citizen's rights and will provide updates as appropriate.

Outside of the Bishop Henry Whipple Building in Minneapolis a person dancing in a fox costume is arrested by the MPD. Protests have been consistent outside of this building since the ramped up ICE presence.

A day after an ICE agent killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, anti-ICE protesters marched from Foley Square to One World Trade Center, where DHS Secretary Kristi Noem was speaking on ICE operations. Demonstrators picketed outside for hours, demanding ICE out of NYC.

The picket has now moved to directly outside of the One World Trade Center where Kristi Noem is currently giving a press conference on the 50th floor about ICE operations in NYC.

ICE detained Yonquenide at 26 Federal Plaza as he held his sleeping son. He was transported to a detention center in Louisiana, where he was told he’d stay in detention until 2029 unless he self-deported.
Now he’s deporting to Venezuela, while Franyelis and their children face the fallout alone.

today outside immigration court someone said to the gaggle of photographers “thank you for the work you’re doing.” and one of the agents replied with “thank you” and the guy looked at him and said “not you.” 😂

his family said that they purposefully assign judges from texas so that detainees lose their cases.

i’ve been in touch with the family of a man i photographed being detained at 26 federal plaza. he’s from russia and was sent to a prison in louisiana. the judge, based in texas, they lost his case before his lawyer could speak. his family says it’s cold, hard to sleep, and the food is awful.
