And no, I don't care about the context. The original purpose of ICE is to detain people, not shoot whenever they feel like it. As law enforcement, you're supposed to de-escalate situations. Not shoot first and ask questions later, like you're judge, jury, and executioner.

Fuck ICE.

I don't care what side you're on; if you actively support ICE, seeing the things they've done recently, you are not a good person, and I consider you just as bad as them. There's NO way that you can look at a video of someone being shot multiple times, and think that's okay in any shape or form.

Also just wanted to add; if you believe that black inclusion is "woke" and the criticisms of racist people is sensitive in any way, you are contributing to the issue of black people feeling welcomed in these spaces. Leave your identity politics at the door and have some compassion for others.

As a black woman who's an anime fan and has been in fandoms for about a decade, there is no reason why in 2025, in this day in age, black people should feel excluded from cosplaying and interacting with anime because of racism.

We are well past the 2010s. Do better.
