Delivered my last pupil workshops of the academic year last week; ending with Robotics & intelino level 2 sessions to children in Yrs 1-5.

Awesome day out with the family exploring the @railway200.bsky.social Inspiration train. A interactive exhibition that takes you through the ages & inspires future generations into STEM.

A fab day of Robotics workshops in Y1-3 courtesy of our good friend @eatsleepictrepeat.bsky.social and @eduthingltd.bsky.social . Throughly recommended, educational and fun, the children loved them. Can’t wait to welcome him back next year @threebridgessch.bsky.social

Wonderful day yesterday at Sunbury Manor as the @eduthingltd.bsky.social team along with Flip Computing & @philwickins.bsky.social ran a range of Y5 STEM workshops featuring intelino trains, Sphero Minis, VR headsets, MakeCode Arcade, Algorithms & Flock XR!
The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. 🎉

It’s been wonderful to deliver these fully-funded workshops to schools and introduce over 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ pupils to my intelino trains. 🚆

It’s been fab delivering this #AI in Education course with Tim Barette. The delegates really engaged with the content and it’s been great to hear how they’ve been implementing what they’ve learnt, back at school. Looking forward to delivering more AI CPD as it continues to develop & improve. 🤩

Great to deliver our Summer Subject Leader Network Meeting to computing leads in Wakefield.

Tim Barette and I shared EdTech updates, showcased Canva, discussed evidencing ‘impact’ and ran a hands-on session on how to create a game in OctoStudio. Thanks to MintSupport for hosting.

It’s been fantastic to be part of the #EKO project that gave schools the oppotunity to book a fully-funded workshop that promoted creativity, confidence, knowledge and #STEM careers to young people.

Great day at a lovely school in Woking where I delivered our #SocialMedia themed workshop, ‘Is It Reely You?’, to children in Upper KS2 and then spoke to parents at the end of the day about supporting their children’s online journeys.
