I love baking but I have had mixed results with yeast bread. Baking is a nice distraction from the "disaster of the day" that we are currently subjected to!

It was delicious. Good enough to try again.

Insulin was discovered in Canada. I am forever grateful to the selfless researchers who gave away their discovery to save countless children's lives. I am mom to a Type 1 Diabetes child. Without their discovery, my child would not be alive today.

I have looked online, and I can not find another source that verifies the Governor of Maine said this. I can not give proof of something that does not exist. I would like for this to be true, but I don't think it is.
