It doesn't feel like there were any shackles in creativity, and I honestly never came across a moment where I felt bored. The finale very well could be the most exciting ending to a Nintendo game too, I don't know how they managed to pull it off. This game lives up to its review scores.

The interactions between Pauline and DK are so hearty, and voice acting being a thing now really makes Pauline stand out as a Nintendo character. The new villains are some phenomenal character designs too, Void Kong is a perfect DK antagonist. Those fuckin teef.

"Hearty" comes to mind when it comes to everything in this game. I have only seen joy from DK fans from start to finish. So many music tracks are tranquil or hype as heck, and both rock. One stage was my favorite aesthetic put into a 3D platformer, very very happi.

777 Bananas collected. What an adventure! I'm so happy that Nintendo went with this instead of a new 3D Mario game. DK's controls are so different from Mario's control scheme, vastly different from how DK64's overlap with SM64. People ain't lying, it's addicting to smash.
