Any #T1Ds here in the #Tegobprubart trial? I am so eager for ALL the news. It sounds very promising. I've been T1D for 34 years... always thought they'd cure it SOON. Maybe now it really will be soon? Though I almost can't imagine not having the huge obligations of managing it.

I think the power of a song like Bruce Springsteen's "The Streets of Minneapolis" is not just that it cuts right through the moral smoke screen the feds are putting down, and not just that it is very direct, but that it claims the wider scope and vindication of history and the future to come.

After a very busy weekend I joined @saloneurope.bsky.social #Sestina #poetry course. 39 lines, 6 stanzas of 6 lines, plus a tercet "envoi." End words repeat per rigid structure. It was FABULOUS. I wrote stuff. And I highly recommend that brain game for a great night's sleep afterwards.

Repost b/c I just spent a ski weekend w/a real human who'd read Mailbox & brought it up unpromtped. Said she was very moved by it. 1 scene in particular made her cry. I didn't guess the scene... led to a very satsifying, lovely conversation. Maybe I was more receptive to the praise thx to the AI?
