It’s gonna be a rocky holidays for me. It’s not all bad, I am managing to get into a somewhat festive mood.
However… I dunno… It’s a lot to get into…
Some of this was gonna happen sooner or later and I knew I wouldn’t be able to hold it off forever.

Who knew that practicing how to relax was a thing? Thankful that I don’t feel nearly as guilty about it as I used to. There’s always something that should/“needs to” get done. However, learning to enjoy a few quiet hours by yourself is just as important sometimes. (If not mindfulness training? 🤔)

At least I’m getting gigs in the performance arts, from acting to drag.

Could be video game streaming more, but I am writing, little bit every day.

I do count my blessings; without what I’ve got today, I wouldn’t be where I am.

My Twitter is a dumpster fire right now, thanks to the notoriously toxic Apex Legends community and I was too naive to think I had found open-minded individuals who would at least give me a chance to defend myself before making outrageous claims.

I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that AI won’t go away, and it sucks. So… we gotta figure out a way to make it work -for- us and not against us.

Some people say, if you’re gonna criticize then offer up solutions. Well… I decided to offer up a few of my own, just in case.

To every struggling artist out there, I’ll openly admit that my main source of income -is- a monthly disability pension […] 4/5

Then there’s new categories, which can then create new jobs in the field, maybe even make it more accessible for those who might have disabilities.

Remember: AI is just another tool in the toolbox. It should never be the solution to everything; that never ends well… 3/5

Or — And hear me out… If your film/tv production value is above a certain bracket, you’re making enough money that you can realistically afford to pay for real human artistic creators. 2/5

What about picture frames that are screens and can rotate between x number of photos rather than 1 per?

As an artist, where I stand on AI is that full disclosure -must- be mandatory when -any at form- hasn’t been created by a human. Ex: Organic foods; easily identifiable and readily available. Similarly, we -can- put strong regulations/laws to both promote & protect human made art.

And yes, AI was both a conscious and subconscious team effort — with our growing requirements, demands and expectations.

AI is capable of doing a lot good, as much as it can do a lot of harm. That’s where we’re at as collective society who has created/birthed this technology. “With great power comes great responsibility.”

My mental health is still wobbly, but I’m glad I made it through physically unscathed.
