This website is almost 20 years old. I read this roughly when I was 14-15 years old. I was inspired after discovering the Beats, and Bob Dylan to find more art that had this vibe. "Resonated" with me. Both the Rimbaud and Fredreich met that vibe โ๏ธ.
Ahh yes, The Postman. Imagine pitching a post-apocalyptic drama about a civil servant, a Postman, fighting for the soul of America against a band of neo-Confederates led by a con-artist former insurance salesman. Sounds a lot less "out there" in 2025 than it did in 1997!
