At the rally I attended, I was circulating petitions for a friend so she could be on the ballot in our Democratic primary in November. I had to size up people in the crowd before approaching them because they were so many registered republicans in the crowd who couldn't legally sign the petitions.

This morning, a Blackhawk helicopter flew over the Elementary school where I work. We are located about 40 miles west of the city of Chicago.

Children being banned from outdoor recess because ICE agents are spraying tear gas near their elementary school is more than an inconvenience. These children are experiencing trauma. These ICE agents are threatening children. When will this stop?
