A ringing plover and chick walk along the shoreline

I place my brushes down & put my paints aside for another week. Off to look after the ancient mother. It’s not just “the pram in the hall” that gets in one’s way as a female artist. It’s good to have a full life, a mixed pallet of stuff to deal with & It definitely makes the art time more treasured

I don’t know who Dicky Lice is but I’m guessing she wouldn’t give a ….. 😉

Just a bit of art

Sunday has come around again. A day of rest. I hope wherever you are, you can stretch out like a hare in the sunshine. Just to sit and do nothing is a luxury. To contemplate your place in the world and everything around you.

Slowly getting there just a few more days worth of work and it should be done

They are poplar wood gesso and 23 carat gold leaf

It’s going to be in my studio and online. I will post the dates again as it’s part of the Art Out West open studio trail here in Pembrokeshire

Here’s a #Hare I’m working on today. She’s stretching out her back before settling down for a sleep in the sun. I’ve watched many a hare in my time doing just this. The #painting will be in my September exhibition
