This is a fun journey for the listener, where everyone likes the movie well enough, but the more you talk about it, the more it starts to unravel. My take is Disney made a weird, perhaps incomplete movie on the relative cheap that still wins on vibes.

Really great time spent with Nick D'Agostino revisiting this one that I'd not seen in ~35 years. I remembered quite liking it, so I had a little more skin in the game than usual, and I'm not sure it held up great.

When I saw the length of this weeks podcast, I was concerned. How do you spend 2 plus hours on a film that’s almost 10/10 no notes? You guys really pulled it off— A lot of fun and even learned a thing or two. Forrest was maybe the perfect guest for this type of show.

I was able to find this week’s movie streaming free without ads on a Roku app, ReelMovie. Not only that, I also stumbled across some other great retro stuff on there. Picture and sound quality is solid. Definitely worth downloading if you like older (think early 80s and before) movies.
