Finding an old post about the Tennessee Williams Tribute, leads me to a realization about the value of blogging (or journaling).

Appealing to eugenics is no defense for forced starvation—as if sick and disabled children deserve it and it doesn't matter as much if they starve.

That’s just it. I don’t comment. I block when they pop up. They are weeds. Every time I think the yard is clear, they spring up. Honey, this isn’t adult content! 😂This time I did make the mistake of responding to a comment. Mea culpa.

It’s a nightmare. My father was a WWII vet. The world he thought he fought to protect is no longer recognizable.

I keeping blocking them and then another idiot shows up with the same unimaginative drivel. How many people do I have to block before I don’t see it again? It’s the equivalent of those home loan finance spam calls. No matter how many numbers I block, another one starts harassing me the next day.

It’s silly and shallow. My scrolling avoids this mostly because the first time something like this comes in my feed, I block. Unfortunately the algorithm keeps finding new puerile stuff to show me. It’s very irritating.

The deeply shitty people running the country now are nothing new; there have always been deeply shitty people like them in America. Although in the past the media, academia, and even Congress were slower to surrender to them.
