I do think games can benefit from a short list of evergreen keywords, but adding new keywords constantly sucks. Ive seen a lot of people say stuff like "archtypes should all have their unique mechanics keyworded" and thats INSANE

Ive been saying for a while now that the take that keywords are the future of yugioh is insane, psct is actually the future of all paper tcgs. Not exactly how Yugioh does it but a standardized way of writing cards so you can know what every card does with 1 read.
