They're both getting braver but dogs are still an insult and an affront to their sensibilities.

He is getting very sassy and playful now he's getting braver.

It's way easier than it sounds. I make ours nearly every year. Just don't get yolk in the egg whites and it's usually perfect. A stand mixer makes the job heaps easier.

Tasmania, Australia. We usually do cold meats and salads, cheese and crackers, and pavlova.

Pavlova is our non-negotiable thing as a family, and usually some boiled new potatoes with butter too.

This year will be much lower key for us, but still pavlova.

I am a tiny bit sad for me too, but the joy on their new small humans faces was pretty amazing.

Their new adult human I met was amazing, and I've had photos of the happiest kittens and small humans today. Just so much joy.

That's how I look at it! I've been missing Winnie as my lap buddy, but Carolina and Cayenne are so close to filling that void.

And I've had photos today of very happy kittens and the happiest new small humans.

She has been so kissed.

I'm laying on my back with my knees up on my bed. You're looking between my knees, by my feet (I'm wearing pants, don't be gross). You can see a small tabby kitten looking incredibly startled to be photographed. He's sitting by my feet, waiting to see if they move and he can jump on them.

It took Cayenne a little bit to be brave, but here he is exploring the bed.

Bedside table kitten! Carolina and Cayenne had excellent playtime in the bus today, and they were both SO brave in their exploring! Lots of snuggles and playtime.

Us too! They were firm favourites with everyone.

I think they have. I don't get to vet adopters (thank goodness!) but our rescue does a fabulous job matching personalities 99% of the time.

I am too. It's a perfect outcome but they're such good girls and I was so lucky to be able to love them.

They are staying together and their new mum was confused anyone would even want to separate them!

It does go fast once they're desexed and big enough!

Please celebrate their foster graduation. I'm going to miss them dearly but their new family is perfect for them.

It was BAD. Something must have gone wrong with the farm irrigator because all the top soil blew away and there was a panicked rush out to the paddock in the middle of it all. I suspect it was meant to be turned on much earlier and it didn't work! (Computer driven)

I was not! Everything lit up mostly east of us (and south, and north) but it was blowing such a strong westerly I didn't even smell smoke. Hoping everyone out there is okay.

My house was delivered yesterday! In gale force winds, with dust storms, and it was A LOT. but it was successfully unloaded with no injuries and no damage!

Yep, like everyone else said. Even perfectly socialised little kittens will have their own personalities and preferences and confidence issues. It's why they're all so fun to foster.

Bus playtime for Cayenne and Carolina! Cayenne is still very skittish about approaching humans in a space outside of his crate, but thankfully he LOVES snacks. He shared my lunch and got a pat.
