A little Sabine video! I know it's dark and grainy, but I wasn't going to fuss about turning on extra lights.

She's getting SO brave and so comfortable with my hands!

She is very silly and very chaotic and still learning not to jump on people, but we love her. She's just about 8 months old.

I was stamping eggs for sale and apparently that one had a thin shell. SPLOOT everywhere.

Sadie (puppy) enjoyed the cleanup way more than I did.

Yeah. He panics and then his whole brain turns to static fizz. Luckily we can mostly avoid all his triggers and we're still teaching him how to feel safe and be confident.

Oh yeah, I'm always covered in scratches when we have new scaredy cats or little kittens in.

There would have to be!

I'm hoping the best for them too! Hopefully we can get Sabine loving humans too so they can be adopted as a pair.

I'll have to keep an eye on eBay or FB marketplace.

Now Sabine is searching the crate for any mice that may have fallen out of YouTube for her.

Might need to see if I can find a cheap tablet for kittens.

I patted Sabine's ears this morning and she did not panic!

She hasn't really let anyone touch her since she came into rescue.

Apparently all I need to do is distract her with mouse videos on YouTube. (Which is why I don't have pics, the girls had my phone)

She's scared, but not panicky or reacting with actual anger or malice, thank goodness! So while the scratches look bad, they'll heal. If she was threatening biting it would be another story!

Absolutely, I think that's exactly what's happening. Sometimes in this case we'd split them, but these two are so bonded it would upset them more than it would help. So we're just going to work with it. Thankfully Meg loves pats!

It was rough yesterday. But! Hopefully today is easier.

Ahhhh. I know that feeling. Tom put me in hospital last year and I love him but I will never fully trust him.

Luckily Sabine is all spice and no actual malice or panic (which can be worse!)

I don't mind change. Catastrophe can take a back seat for a good long while though. Very glad things are improving!

I dunno, I feel like it's more sadness and anger over watching my house burn down and losing most everything I owned, rather than sadness at the eventual end of bus living.

It's huge and objectively good and I am pleased but omg.

Good thing we didn't all do it in the same direction. Might have moved us closer to Antarctica.
