My grandmother was always knitting and crocheting for the family and for charity.

My aunt is wearing these slippers every day, but the last pair (top one) is starting to wear thin I offered to make new ones. Double Drops Fabel sock yarn and hook 4,0mm.

I applied to test knit this piece of gorgeousness this autumn. Fingering wool yarn and so many fun stitches and techniques.

It’s like the ultimate office sweater. Perfect with black slacks and heels. Also suitable in a more dressy office.

USING SCRAPS 🧶
I made a pair of socks (right) from #langyarnsupersoxx and then I was stuck with 30 odd grams of yarn. Now I am using them to make cuffs on my basic navy #opal4ply socks (left). Pretty neat, right? #knitsky #knitting #sockknitting

I am knitting a pair of socks that kind of gives the same vibe… love the long cuff, I might use that for my next pair!

Having a weekend house with a fireplace is seriously cutting into my knitting time. I just repiled the remaining dry wood to be able to fit the new. Which is my job for the afternoon.

And for the summer: build a proper wood storage. Tarp isn’t very pretty…

I don’t look at my knitting. That helps…

Cold house - check. We’re not big on fingerless gloves. But we do use mittens often. Perhaps a pair of thin ones? Thanks!
