I think most people do not understand how big the changes will be, until they are in the middle of them. As you probably know, going somewhere for vacation is not the same as changing your country.

Your money. Have you thought about it before you make your move? Many banks don't let you keep your account if you are not living in your home country. Also, check tax rules. Some countries may tax your retirement.

This old bag moved to Argentina 20+ years ago from the US. Still happy to live here, even without Costco.(Can you imagine a life without Costco?)I still travel with my old suitcase (the other old bag) and will be posting what it's like to change your country and traveling without a lot of money.
