Welcome back to another Pint Sized Update 🍻

This week we travelled up to Birmingham for the Great British Beer Festival to discuss all things from market access to the rise of No and Low beer.

In the press, we've continued to draw attention to pub closures and the challenges facing the sector.

Stonegate Group's work is further proof of the sector's role in supporting their communities and making sure they are #OpenToAll.

Beyond fundraising, Stonegate Group venues provide vital community spaces, hosting creative and wellbeing workshops for Stonewall Housing service users and amplifying awareness through visible in-venue campaigns.

Through initiatives like Rainbow Pilsner, Polari, and fundraising events in their venues, they’ve raised more than £65,000. This is enough to fund more than 6,800 one-to-one advice calls for those in crisis.

🏡Their commitment extends beyond their venues and, since 2021, Stonegate has supported Stonewall Housing, the UK’s leading charity for LGBTQ+ people facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions.

In 2023 they launched their industry-first ‘Serving with Pride’ campaign, which celebrates Pride while championing inclusivity all year across their Managed venues. Many of their venues proudly serve as official Pride hosts, reinforcing their commitment to creating welcoming environments for all.
