I believe detransition has a 50% regret rate, about 50x that of transition. Surely we therefore need extensive safeguards on it, maybe first getting 100 doctors to testify that the person doesn't have gender dysphoria...

You note they only apologise if it was sent "by chance" and "in error". They make no apology for doing it entirely on purpose! 🙄

Intuition would say it's obviously unfair. Yet how many gold medals have trans women won in athletic sports, and how many world records have they broken, inside or outside of qualification? If the answer to both questions is "none", then perhaps it's not as unfair as "obviously" seems.

As you say, it is nothing to do with women's sports and everything to do with finding an excuse to legally define trans women as "not women". Because as soon as they can get that foot in that door, they can leverage it everywhere else, even where legislatures aren't inherently bigoted.

A few months back, the lady chairing a MOD diversity dial-in commented that when she was a much younger lesbian, all the tabloid fuss was about "predatory lesbians in women's spaces". The target changes, the bigotry doesn't...

This is part of the problem with the Rowlingers. In part they believe women are intrinsically "better" than men, yet if trans women can become women then they can't be. Whilst at the same time believing no man could ever want to be a woman so they can only be doing it to sneak into women's spaces!

So you're happy for trans men to use their "biological" bathroom too? To see big bearded muscled chaps wander into the ladies with your daughter? No need for predators to disguise themselves as trans women now. I feel so much safer! 🙄
