Oh that's great! I started this project today to improve my skills: The blue robot is named Plowie and is used in FTC game reveal videos. Seems like some straight forward geometry to practice with.

(My robotics team uses OnShape - it is web based and free for education)
Whichever software you use get an understanding of the available tools. I went through each tool in the menu bar to know what it does.

Then I looked at existing CAD designs. OnShape has a lot of public documents.

We had a two hour drive so spent the whole time brainstorming a robotics event. Lots of good ideas, but everything hinges on a venue.

During holidays I go into super organization mode. Today I designed, CAD, and manufactured two shelve extensions off my homemade shelving unit.

These will hold Bambu AMS in a very accessible place.

I love how the hardboard looks like leather.

I’ve been using GitHub copilot for a while. It’s mid. Good suggestions about 60% of the time.

Might take Jetbrains version for a spin.

I’m setting up a #robot workflow and need a platform that runs Python.

I have a few Circuit Playgrounds sitting idle so I’m starting with these.

Next I’ll work on power, servo control (I have one Adafruit CRICKIT), and remote control.

Time to introduce the kids to The fast and the Furious (2001)

CAD design of a box with two doors.

Today's been a CAD day. I'm designing a cabinet for my CNC to try to contain dust and chips.

I've never designed carpentry projects in CAD so this is a first for me!

I had to wait 10 hours for a flight so I started a new Laravel project.

Going to be a TALL stack and my first time using Flux.

Excited to give it a test drive!

Looks nice! We love our ev (Nissan LEAF) but have more family than seats.
