Had this discussion recently and I agree but one thing I am not sure about is, how do you handle disabled behavior of a button that is an <a> because it changes the url?
You can't disable anchors or set an empty href on them. So is the best option to render a button[disabled] and otherwise an <a>?

When does a user get a security update to the chrome version of their electron app? When the app developer updates the app or when electron updates the chrome version?

That's cool but my question was more along the lines of does the app developer need to deploy new versions of the app to update Chrome or does the operating system/electron/chrome update the used chrome version used in an electron app

Is there any merit to the argument that you need to provide security patches yourself to the version of chrome you are shipping?
