I’m not sure why it’s thought to be presumably better that Wolf and Kaitlyn are actually standing there in Tel Aviv delivering the coverage. It looks fake anyway.

I now realize: I really did live a pretty sheltered life in the pre-Internet era when no random person could just permeate my consciousness.

I didn’t hang out in bars. I worked in a company staffed by intelligent, refined people. Media weeded out stupidity & coarseness.

It’s been a revelation.

My first thought was to be startled. My second thought was to realize that this is not exaggerated THAT MUCH.
