Book #13 of 2025 done. As a kid growing up in the 90s, I, of course, looked forward to TGIF every week. I kinda loved that Full House had a 'Stephanie.' Actor Jodie Sweetin takes you on one helluva ride as she speaks on her fame, addiction, relapses, marriages, and motherhood.

Book #12 of 2025 done. It took a long time for this eBook to become available from the library! I was looking for a fun romance read and this delivered, with a little bit of spice too! It's absolutely cheesy and predictable... and, yes, I will be reading the next book in the series.

Book #11 of 2025 done on 9/13/25. I only listen to audiobook memoirs that are narrated by the author and Issa is the best narrator thus far. She's hilarious and made it feel like an episode of Insecure. I was often laughing to myself while listening to this on my walks. Highly recommend!

Book #10 of 2025 done. Kristen going from Top Chef contestant to host seemed like a logical choice, but there was so much that happened before, between, and after all that. Her voice as a queer Asian female adoptee trying to find herself is a welcomed one.

Book #9 of 2025 done. Mark isn't the best narrator, so that took some getting used to. blink-182 was one of my 1st concerts and this memoir was so nostalgic. I loved hearing blink's origin story, how songs came to be, and how they reunited... and then didn't...and then did again. P.S. Cancer sucks.

Book #8 of 2025 done. This was suggested by a friend and wouldn't be my normal type of read, but it was entertaining, sexy, & strangely relatable. We all do certain things or hide parts of ourselves to get ahead. Evelyn Hugo gets raw about how this affected her life and the lives of those she loves.

Book #7 of 2025 done. Amanda put her CIA/NASA dreams on hold to protect the rights of rape victims, herself included. It's a powerful memoir, with a little bit of storytelling about uplifting and mourning past versions of ourselves. Thank you, Amanda, for your sacrifice and the example you have set.

Book #6 of 2025 done. I learned that I cannot read 2 books at once. 😆 I read this book because I loved "One Day," both the Netflix series and the book. Similarly, this book shares the perspectives of the male and female characters and I dig it! It was engaging, with just the right amount of cheese.

Book #5 of 2025 done. As a therapist, I thought I would enjoy this more than I did. It ended up being a slow read for me and I'm not drawn to read the next one. I'm wondering if it was a translation issue. I do want to eat some tteokbokki though.

Book #4 of 2025 done. As someone who has become semi-obsessed with Wicked, I enjoyed reading about Jon Chu's journey from an Asian American kid trying to fit in to finally making movies that mean something to him and bring our people to the forefront. It gives me a different lens to his movies.

Book #3 of 2025 done. I wouldn't say I grew up a Britney fan, but she's got some bangers and I appreciate her as an entertainer. I love how raw this book was; it sounded like it came from her rather than a ghost writer. I had no idea what she went through and I'm happy that she has her freedom back.

Book #2 of 2025 done. It counts even though it was an audiobook, right? I love when audiobooks are read by the authors. I've been a fan of Andrew McMahon since I started listening to Something Corporate in high school. He has a way of writing/speaking that is so poetic.
