While I’ll be walking in Charlotte’s memory I shall also be thinking of an old friend recently diagnosed with glioblastoma. He isn’t going to get better. More research is desperately needed to reverse such tragic outcomes. Please give a Β£1 or Β£2 if you can, a RT also appreciated x thank you x

Sorry to read this. Lost my best friend to glioblastoma and year ago. It's a horrible diagnosis. Thank you for highlighting and raising funds. Hope all is well. M

Yes. I was lucky to graduate 40 years ago with an MA(Hons) in Medieval History. Fully funded. A working class state educated boy at St Andrews. I did the subject just because I was interested. Today I would be forced to pay for a "vocational" degree.

NEW: Car bonnets are becoming a half-centimetre higher every year, driving road safety fears.

This #carspreading trend where supersized SUVs crowd out space in towns and cities is also leading to cars that are more dangerous in a crash.

Given events last year and fact that The King and PM visited picking up the pier issue in Southport is necessary. Shows listening and commitment to a devastated town.
