Ughh it just breaks my heart that my Bluesky timeline is literally 0% Eurovision. I understand that this is due to current circumstances with all the boycotts and all, but it’s really depressing that this is what it’s come to.

I think part of this is due to the price consoles in general. Those who weren’t rich only had the money for one console at a time, and so whatever brand they choose, they stay loyal to, then when the next generation rolls around, they continue to buy from the same brand since it’s reliable to them.

I'm very generous, so as long as I like a game and it has few issues, it's a 10/10 for me.

Tbf, I tend to play games I have a feeling I'll like and avoid those with mixed to bad reception, so there is some bias there.

1. Baba is You

Starting with a not-so-obvious one. Some people don’t know that I’m actually a big fan of puzzle games. Baba is You is a very clever and sneaky sokoban-like game that will test your ability to think outside the box for creative solutions to the problems the levels pose.

Yeah, as much as I want to jump around, I definitely feel guilty every time my partner asks me if I've played the games he's gifted me yet and I say no because I was distracted with some other game lol. So as part of my New Year's resolution, I'm tackling gift games first!

#2 is Final Fantasy VII Remake just because it's a gift from my partner lol. #3 is Metaphor for the same reason lol. The list is actually the current planned order which is subject to change depending on how I feel lol.

One down, 11 more to go.

My backlog gaming group decided on this game as our first game to tackle, and lemme just say… we all HATED it lmao. The art is beautiful, yes, but the long drawn out and overly hand-holdy beginning really soured most of us on the game before it opened up.
