19.02.2026 10:18 β π 418 π 85 π¬ 27 π 3Drawing of a snowy scene with bike wheel and cog shaped snow falling across happy snow people riding six different wheeled mobility devices. From top left: Two snow people riding a tandem mobility scooter. The rear rider has tight fitting dark glasses; A snow person riding a sit-on e-scooter wearing a glamorous matching purple ball gown and fascinator, with a parasol; A snow person riding a recumbent tadpole trike, towing a child trailer with a small snow person inside; A snow person wearing punk clothes using a manual wheelchair and e-assist handcycle attachment; A snow person using a powerchair, smiling into a single-wheel pram clipped to the front of their chair; Two snow people in matching blue bobble hats and scarves riding a side-by-side tandem cycle and cuddling each other. Title reads "wishing everyone their ideal wheels in 2026" and has the Wheels for Wellbeing logo in the top right corner.
There's no single mobility aid that works for everyone.
That's why we'll keep working to help make a world where all #Disabled people can use their ideal wheels to get around.
Wishing everyone their ideal wheels in 2026!

A black woman on a red upright tricycle cycling in a cycle lane. The cycle has a basket in which is a blue bag. She is wearing a black helmet, yellow long-sleeved top and a purple high vis jacket. Behind her is a red bus, yellow and green ambulance and a green van. In the far background are houses.
Wheels for Wellbeing are concerned by reports that the Chancellor is considering putting a maximum price for cycles allowed through the Cycle to Work scheme.
We are calling for the scheme to be reformed rather than capped.

Zag Daily's list of 100 Mobility Changemakers has been published. There are loads of great people on the list but it's a real shame none of the Disabled people leading accessible transport campaigns or the Disabled People's Organisations delivering change in the UK have been included.

A graphic with a red and orange gradient background featuring bold yellow and red text that reads: βCarla Denyer MP writes to Rachel Reeves to call for an end to βscandalβ of tax breaks for oil and gas companies.β Below, there is an image of a letter addressed to Rachel Reeves MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer, from Carla Denyer MP. To the right of the letter, a quote reads: βUse the budget to end financial support to fossil fuel production and fund a workers transition package.β
Did you know the government spends Β£2.7 billion a year on tax breaks for oil & gas companies?
I've written to Rachel Reeves to tell her to end this scandal: stop propping up declining oil & gas companies and back workers instead
