Best of luck!!! I only got diagnosed early this year, being properly medicated and managed has really really helped. It'll take time, but the results snowball.

I'm working on a big project heavily influenced by his art, this was an amazing factoid to learn. Stay tuned for this one.

J C Leyendecker's art is so brimming with gay masculinity, I'm really surprised I didn't catch this till it was mentioned. Love our closeted gay king of classic Americana. The "return to tradition" folks not knowing this makes their co-option of his art really funny.

For real, it never feels good to stagnate! It's fun to do new things. It clicking really is the best feeling. I stagnated for a real long time myself, but I'm pulling out of it nowadays and I can't wait to post my more experimental stuff here on the butterflysite.

It's gonna be a process, but with luck and effort, I hope I can get something close to the body I want. The thought of being skinny again legit makes my stomach curl, but I really think if I can just stick it out and make that bounce, I'll be closer to that goal.

I think I'm starting to figure things out. I'm exercising a ton more and it feels great. I've decided to tackle my atrophied muscles; my plan is to get stronger and lose ~30-40lbs, then start my weight gain journey in earnest with a stronger core.

Like I actually really would. I love the bountiful feast SW's and models provide on the internet, but sometimes I really just need a bespoke ref of something few people photograph or something. Fat squish tends to be very complex to get "right" in art.

Gaining goals: get so fat I can use myself as art reference.

Weight gain comes SO fucking easy for people and I don't get it. I try and try but nothing sticks. I'm not even trying to angle for a feeder here, I just wish I knew WHY this seems to come so easily to everyone but me.

Why the fuck is losing weight so dysphoric? I've tried gaining weight for ten years, yet I can still barely maintain a plateau of 200lbs and stress has made it so much worse lately. I hate this. I hate this so much. I don't even get THE ONE THING most of the world tries to avoid.

I don't think furry artists talk enough about body dysmorphia being the occupational hazard it is.

What would be the coolest place to stomp around in as a macro?

Oh neat, I'm not aware of too many others who block stuff out in 3d. I'm only just learning Blender for a more versatile setup, but I've used a 3d art doll program (DesignDoll) in my 2d workflow for a decade now. Really helps with a lot of things, from anatomy to more complex scenes.

Blender becomes SO much more fun to work in when you find a workflow that works for you. I'm making my first sculpted model, I love this and I'm 100% gonna keep doing this.
