Since I was a young girl, I realized that human rights, compassion, effective govt and politics mattered. I worked in city, county, state and federal govt for over 30 yrs and don't vote for Conservatives EVER. I only vote for ppl who actually care about 'the Greater Good' and thats not the GOP.

Last year after the election, I reflected: "When we fight, we win—but sometimes the fight takes awhile."

Last night, we saw Democratic victories across our nation. I am so proud of these enthusiastic, principled, inspirational leaders who will continue to fight for our nation, ideals, and progress.

Last Saturday my little community raised $10,000 for Feeding America, which they turn into 100,000 meals. I run a meme account and have done more for the hungry in this country than the president, who is intentionally starving women and children for no reason.

If you don’t know Lina Khan, now is a great time to know about her. She’s now on Zohran Mamdani’s transition team. She’s also the former FTC Chair, only 36, & committed to leveling the playing field for everyday Americans. She is an absolute star. This is what hope feels like.

This really hasn’t gotten enough attention this week.

Zohran's victory speech made me so happy. I had a huge ear to ear smile on my face the entire time he was talking. My face wasn't used to being used in this way and hurt afterwards.

I went to FanX Con in SLC and met Melissa Benoist!! I went to the SG panel, got 2 autographs, one selfie and one photo op w/ MB. She's 5'8" tall, lost her arms of steel and was not imposing in RL.
