I just started my PGT in Theology and Religion at @exeter.ac.uk and I'm so excited to get back into academia again after time out for illness/pacing. I'll be focusing on mostly a queer, decolonial, and feminist hermeneutic with a focus on ancient bodies and lived experiences.

imo, MG's apology is the bare minimum. When she got the casting call or offer or whatever, it would have taken three seconds to google who you'll be working for. It's not some 'yourfavesareproblematic' deep dive, her institutionalised transphobia is among the top results.

I spend a ridiculous amount of my drawing time illustrating one of my OCs, Nola. I've got at least 100 renderings of her since 2019. She's like my sandbox for learning digital art and Procreate over the last five years.

#academicsky / theology - does anyone know of any good academic lit/refs re: the intersection between queerness, atheism/anti-theism, & christianity/religion broadly? atm I'm primarily researching conflicts/allyship within the queer community wherein religious identity is the discourse, ideally UK

Find the people in your communities, then go through their follow lists etc. I've mostly been doing academic twitter and twitch twitter to yoink back some of that community we're losing

as a brand new babey, it seems way less toxic, but I imagine that's down to the close networking, less heated feeds cus less people, and the fact that a good part of the motivation for moving here for many people is it's *not* unhinged like the Other Place.
