It’s cowardice. And it is also taking the blame. We need new representatives who have spines and know how to deal with bullies.

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

This is a shit deal. It's a betrayal. It's cowardice.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Bullshit. In all of the majorities they’ve had since Obamacare passed, they’ve never once tried to replace it.

They’ve tried to repeal it a whole bunch, but never actually make it better.

The silence of congressional Republicans to all the Trump corruption - from his disgusting pardons, to the UAE crypto money, to the Qatari jet, and the ballroom, should be used against all of them in midterms along with their silence on tariffs which has made things unaffordable.

They are all to blame. Every single one of them that voted for and is doing the bidding of this monstrous president.

Buried in the Big Beautiful Bill were changes to food assistance that demanded “any future change be cost-neutral. Translation: no more benefit increases, even if food prices skyrocket.”

The result was “institutionalized hunger.”
