Truly big news here for Mistcoin, the only tradable token issued by the Ethereum Foundation other than Ethereum itself. Launched in 2015, it was the prototype for the ERC20 standard behind most modern tokens, right down to the USDT and USDC stablecoins. Market cap $6m.

Ignore the far right = tacit acceptance = empowerment of extremism. Imagine if someone said "let's not challenge this in court, it'll only give them a public platform"... The court of public opinion is just as crucial as a court of law.

A PridePunks 2018 non-fungible token (NFT).

Early NFT collections seem to be attracting renewed interest, so maybe PridePunks 2018 will be back soon. This is the first diversity NFT collection, and was derived from CryptoPunks (just added the rainbow). It's my favorite collection.

Greater originality should matter at some point, I just wouldn't advise people to avoid the "less pure" historical coins/tokens, as they might leave a lot of money on the table in the shorter term. Money that could buy more of the true originals.

The market doesn't seem too concerned about the purity of the origins so far, only the coolness of the narrative. At some point, the more genuine coins/tokens like Catcoin 2013, Mistcoin and Ayeayecoin may attract a premium, but I wouldn't trade on that maybe.

The quandary of investing in historical crypto coins and tokens (2012-2015) - is it the original code? Is it the original blockchain or a new one starting from zero? If it's the original chain, has it functioned uninterrupted? Are any original community members still involved?

IMO, these are very reputable. The Catcoin blockchain is uninterrupted since 2013 (that's rare), Ayeayecoin is the earliest tradable token on Eth from 2015, and Mistcoin was the ERC20 prototype (the only token issued by the Eth Foundation other than Eth). Historical value rises with time.

That's why I focus on early historical coins, like Catcoin 2013, Potcoin, Ayeayecoin, and Mistcoin.

I think the best leveraged play on Ethereum may be Ayeayecoin (WAAC), the first meme and earliest tradable token on Eth. It was created only weeks after mainnet went live in 2015, and honors an endangered species of lemur. Supply 6m, market cap $12m. ayeayecoin.xyz

I'll wait a bit. My main interests are not well represented here - cryptocurrency and gold/silver mining stocks - as many of those accounts are trying to monetise, and many more actually like modern twitter. At least I can find Star Trek/Star Wars, Volt Europa, and general stock market stuff.
